This time of year can be one of the most frustrating for those who need to be outside. The weather can be beautiful one minute, and then the skies open up and the temperature drops as much as 15 degrees the next minute. And today might turn out to be one of those days.
We'll start off with plenty of sunshine, but as the mercury climbs through the 60s near Lake Superior and near 80 away from the lake, an unstable atmosphere will produce afternoon showers and thunderstorms. So if you are heading outside today, keep an umbrella nearby ... just in case.
