A surface low passing to our south and an upper trough to support the low will bring in another round of rain and potentially strong storms today. Most of the heavy rain and storms may stay along the same areas that received the brunt of Tuesday's storms, such as Grand Rapids, Cohasset, Deer River and Island Lake. Damaging wind and hail likely will be the biggest threats. There is potential for heavy rains that could lead to flooding for parts of the region. Thick fog could return late tonight into Friday morning. Sunshine returns just in time for the weekend.
