Lingering rain will continue through the region today as an upper-level low moves farther into Canada. A brief moment of summer heat will return along with sunshine Friday and Saturday. However, a ridge of warm, moist air will return late Saturday to help another piece of energy spark off some heavier rain Saturday night into Sunday. Additional flooding is possible. Areas hit hard early this week in east-central Minnesota and west-central Wisconsin could get hit again. Rain looks to slide into Sunday and make for another wet day.
