Thursday's forecast for Duluth and the Northland: Here comes summer

Break out the shorts, sunscreen and any other items you might need or want to enjoy the outdoors. The weather is going to be summer-like the next two days. Even conditions by the lake will be warmer as the winds look to be out of the west-southwest.

Break out the shorts, sunscreen and any other items you might need or want to enjoy the outdoors. The weather is going to be summer-like the next two days. Even conditions by the lake will be warmer as the winds look to be out of the west-southwest. Many parts of the region will see 70s today and nearly 80 degrees on Friday, especially inland away from the lake. There is a small chance we could wake up today with a few sprinkles, but I'm not expecting much. The weekend will bring us plenty of sun and temps in the 60s and 70s around the Northland.
