A canceled United flight from Duluth to Chicago Thursday morning may put a damper on some travel plans to the Frozen Four.
The flight was scheduled to leave Duluth at 6:30 a.m. and arrive in Chicago at 8:14 a.m. Thursday, but the flight was canceled due to weather, according to United spokeswoman Maddie King. Most customers are being accommodated on other flights, King said.
The National Weather Service in Chicago issued a wind advisory Wednesday night and a high-wind warning for the area for Thursday.
Flights from Chicago to Duluth on Wednesday night were also canceled.
United flights scheduled for later on Thursday were still scheduled for on-time departure, as of Thursday morning.
