The city of Duluth has announced the three finalists for consideration for the position of city attorney. The finalists, listed in alphabetical order, are:
-Gunnar Johnson, Duluth: Johnson presently serves as the assistant attorney general for the state of Minnesota, a position he has held since 2001. He served as attorney for the law firm of Clure, Eaton and Butler from 1996-2001. He received a degree in law from the American University, Washington DC and a bachelor's of science degree with a major in biology and minor in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
-Alison Lutterman, Duluth: Lutterman presently serves as deputy city attorney for the city of Duluth, a position she has held since 1990. She served as assistant city attorney for the city of Duluth from 1990-2000 and as senior attorney for the law firm Marshall and Associates from 1987-1990. She received a degree in law from William Mitchell College of Law, St. Paul and a bachelor of arts degree in business administration from the University of Hawaii at Mano'a, Honolulu.
-Lisa Wilson, Duluth: Wilson presently serves as assistant city attorney-Civil Division for the city of Duluth, a position she has held since 2004. She served as interim human resources manager for the city of Duluth from 2007-2008 and as assistant city attorney-Criminal Division from 2003-2004. She received a degree in law from William Mitchell College of Law, St. Paul, and a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from the University of Texas, Dallas.
