This weekend might be your best bet for leaf peeping

Even though there is still a bit of green out there, this weekend might be your best bet for leaf peeping around the Twin Ports and along the North Shore.

Even though there is still a bit of green out there, this weekend might be your best bet for leaf peeping around the Twin Ports and along the North Shore.

According to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (see map below), fall color in the Duluth area is at about 75-100 percent peak color.

Pops of orange, red and yellow could be seen throughout a hike on the trails at Hawk Ridge in Duluth on Thursday. Watch the attached video to get an idea of what you might see if you were to go on a hike in Duluth this weekend.
