Judy's 85th birthday is going to be quite a bash.

Judy Garland, Grand Rapids' most famous native, would have turned 85 on Sunday and the folks at the Judy Garland Museum aren't letting the date slide by without celebration. Garland fans will be able to meet the actress' son Joe Luft, see a collection of 15 of her gowns and visit with two of the original Munchkins from "The Wizard of Oz," Garland's most famous film.

The most unusual event of the weekend may be "The Ruby Slipper Caper," a mystery dinner theater event based on the real-life theft of a pair of ruby slippers from the museum in 2005.

The 2007 Judy Garland Festival runs June 8-10 in Grand Rapids. For events and costs, call (800) 664-5839.
