Christine Riccitelli of Nevada took home $50,000 and top honors in the National Beef Cook-off, held in Chicago in September.
Shannon Mitchell and her twin daughters, Riley and Danielle, of Naperville, Ill., claimed $10,000 as top prize winners in the "Kids in the Kitchen" category.
The 27th annual cook-off was sponsored by the American National CattleWomen and the National Cattlemen's Beef Association.
Five finalists were selected for each of the four categories. In addition to the kids division, the categories were:
* New dynamic beef dishes.

* Nuevo Latino beef dishes.
* Small plates, big tastes, grilled for everyday entertaining.
Margaret Murphy of Naperville competed in the Nuevo Latino category with Mexican beef stew over chipotle sweet potato mashers, a stew flavored with ancho chili powder, chipotle chilies and unsweetened cocoa served over sweet-hot mashed sweet potatoes.
Guy Fieri, star of "Guy's Big Bite" and "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" on television's Food Network, was emcee of the competition. The Food Network will air footage from the contest at a later date, Fieri said.
The National Beef Cook-off takes place every two years.
