Temporary skywalk link in downtown Duluth to Northwest Passage opens

A temporary skywalk link between downtown Duluth's Wells Fargo Bank and the Northwest Passage opened Thursday, the Duluth Transit Authority reported.

A temporary skywalk link between downtown Duluth’s Wells Fargo Bank and the Northwest Passage opened Thursday, the Duluth Transit Authority reported.
Demolition activity associated with the new Multimodal Transportation Center required the removal of a critical section of the skywalk link to the Wells Fargo Bank building.
A new temporary structure has been constructed, re-establishing the direct connection between the downtown area and the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center.
Pedestrian travel between the DECC and the downtown area through the Northwest Passage will return to normal access hours.  
The DTA has discontinued its shuttle service between the DECC and downtown Duluth.
