The snow deposited by last week's blizzard isn't going to stick around.

The National Weather Service forecasts that temperatures across the Northland will reach the low to mid 40s today - cooler in Duluth and points east, warmer to the west - with mostly sunny skies.

After a chilly night tonight - lows in the teens - the warm-up will continue with high temperatures across the region of 50 to 55 on Monday, and 55 to 60 on Tuesday, again under mostly sunny skies. South winds of 15 to 25 mph are expected on Monday and Tuesday.

There is a chance of rain Wednesday and Thursday, but temperatures are forecast to remain in the 50s.
