It was a frosty morning in parts of the Northland today as temperatures fell below freezing in some areas.
Overnight lows reported by the National Weather Service in Duluth included:
32 at Ely, Orr, Eveleth, Hibbing and Bigfork A weather station at Embarrass reported a temperature of 26 degrees this morning.
A frost advisory was in effect for the Iron Range and points north overnight.
In the Duluth area, there were no concerns about frost. The low at the Duluth International Airport this morning was 40 degrees, while at Sky Harbor temperatures fell only to 48.
Conditions across the Northland should be a few degrees warmer tonight, so a repeat round of frost is not expected.
