Three Twin Cities residents have been identified as suspects in the Payday Loan robberies that took place April 3 and Nov. 2 in Superior.
All three are facing multiple counts of armed robbery for robberies in the Twin Cities Metro area, according to a news release issued by the Superior Police Department. No charges have been filed in Douglas County at this time.
The individuals involved have been identified as James J. Rademacher, 21, and Rhonda L. Anderson, 42, both of Little Canada, and Steve D. Simmons, 25, of Minneapolis.
The police department in Coon Rapids, Minn., informed Superior police about three weeks ago that they had suspects in custody who were likely responsible for a string of armed robberies.
Through their investigation and interviews by Superior Police Department Detective Kirk Hill, two individuals provided information implicating themselves in the Nov. 2 armed robbery at Payday Loan in Superior.

Additional forensic evidence was recovered that linked the third suspect to the April 3 armed robbery in Superior. The suspect in the April 3 robbery has ties to the two suspects providing information on the Nov. 2 robbery.
It is unknown at this point when charges may be filed in Douglas County concerning the two Payday Loan robberies. Federal charges may also be considered against the group.
