Superior police seeking information on car thefts

A reward is being offered for information on a Superior burglary reported by Bob's South Tower service station, 6028 Tower Ave., which resulted in the theft of two cars.

A reward is being offered for information on a Superior burglary reported by Bob's South Tower service station, 6028 Tower Ave., which resulted in the theft of two cars.

It is suspected that the burglary occurred during the weekend of June 5.

Taken during the burglary were numerous keys and titles belonging to vehicles for sale by a business co-located with the service station. The night of the burglary, a silver 2004 Dodge Intrepid was stolen from the lot.

A second vehicle, a 2002 Dodge Stratus, was stolen within a few days of the burglary, before it was discovered that the spare keys for the vehicles were missing. The second vehicle was recovered in rural Douglas County after having been destroyed by fire.
