Superior police are investigating a robbery Wednesday night at the Arby's restaurant on Tower Avenue.
According to police, a man entered the restaurant at 3821 Tower Ave. at about 8 p.m. Wednesday and asked for change for a $100 bill. An employee had smaller bills in their hand to make change when they noticed the $100 bill was counterfeit. The male suspect grabbed the cash from the employee's hand and fled the scene.
The suspect is described as a white male with a thin build, about 5-foot-8, with short strawberry-blond hair and missing an upper front and lower front tooth. He fled the scene in an older brown Chevrolet or GMC pickup.
Anyone with information about the incident should contact Superior Police by calling 911, or 715-395-7234.
Superior police noted that businesses should use caution when making change for customers, and always first verify that a bill is not counterfeit.
