Superior man arrested for making heroin deliveries
A Superior man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of making repeated deliveries of heroin, according to the Superior Police Department. The arrest was a result of an investigation done by Superior police narcotics investigators and those with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
Carvell Nashun Robinson, 30, appeared Friday in Douglas County Circuit Court where he was charged with six counts of sale or delivery of heroin and one count of party to a crime of sale or delivery of heroin. The felony charges carry penalties of up to $25,000 and 12½ years in prison.
More than 3 grams of heroin were seized during the investigation, police said. Robinson is also a convicted felon and police said a search of his home found that he was in possession of two firearms. Another felony charge of a felon in possession of a firearm was filed.
