Duluth police arrested a man wanted in connection with a string of Superior burglaries about 11:45 a.m. Thursday.
Detectives from the Superior Police Department observed a vehicle passenger they suspected to be Joseph Bluege Greene in Duluth. The Superior police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of 1705 E. Second St., and they were assisted in taking Greene into custody by the Duluth Police Department.
A multiple-count felony warrant was issued for Greene, 23, of Superior on Wednesday. He is suspected in a string of daytime residential burglaries in August and September in the city of Superior.
The burglaries, which happened throughout Superior, usually involved forced entry. Items taken included electronics, cameras, collector coins, jewelry and cash, according to police.
Greene will be lodged in the St. Louis County Jail pending extradition to Douglas County.

Superior police had sought the public's help in locating Greene.
