A Superior-bound Duluth Transit Authority bus went into the ditch just before the Blatnik Bridge Tuesday afternoon.
Earlier Tuesday morning, a DTA bus went into the ditch off Cottonwood Avenue.
In both cases, the buses were empty and there were no injuries associated with the accidents.
The Superior-bound bus went off the road around 3:30 p.m. when heavy snow created slushy conditions on the entrance to the Blatnik.
"It just hit the slush and slid right in," said Dale Ceryes, a DTA mechanic on the scene.

"The entrance ramp right there was very slick," said Dennis Jensen, the DTA's general manager.
