This morning, we may experience some of the coldest air yet this long winter. Yet another arctic cell of high air pressure will keep us dry and cold. This morning's wake-up temperatures will be 25-40 below in Minnesota, 20-30 below in Wisconsin. The wind will be west at 5-10 mph. A wind chill warning covers the entire region until 11 a.m. today.

This afternoon, the sky should be mostly sunny with regional highs ranging from 5 below to 5 above.

Come Monday, the high-pressure system will again feed us arctic air. Lows will be about 20 below, highs near 5 above.

On Tuesday, the high will be to our southeast, and the clockwise winds that turn around it will start working in our favor for some higher temperatures!

The cold snap may be broken by Wednesday. Forever? The way this winter has run, I won't commit just yet.
