It's going to be a fantastic end to the weekend for many of us across the Northland. A cold front swept through the Upper Midwest last night, and that has cleared the way for a drier airmass and plenty of sunshine. A few morning clouds will give way to afternoon sunshine as temperatures climb into the upper 70s to low 80s with a gusty westerly breeze. The sunshine will stick around for the beginning of the workweek, but a weak area of low pressure lies on the horizon. Showers and storms are likely on Tuesday and chances of pop-up thunderstorms will linger through the rest of the week. - Meteorologist Dan Romano
