Students raising money for trip to rebuild homes in New Orleans

University of Minnesota Duluth students are holding a public fundraising event tonight for a trip to New Orleans to help build Habitat for Humanity housing.

University of Minnesota Duluth students are holding a public fundraising event tonight for a trip to New Orleans to help build Habitat for Humanity housing.

The Deal or No Deal game for prizes begins at 6 p.m. today in Griggs Center in the Kirby Student Center. A silent auction will also be held.

A second auction will be held to from noon to 1 p.m. on Friday in Kirby Rafters. The auction includes food, entertainment, and lots of auction items and it features "Dining with Celebrities."

About 40 students and staff are taking the week-long January trip to New Orleans.
