The National Weather Service is forecasting a slight risk of severe thunderstorms over the Northland today and tonight.
Damaging winds, large hail and isolated tornadoes are possible if strong storms develop.
High temperatures today are expected to reach the low 70s around the Twin Ports, but well into the 80s away from Lake Superior.
