Scattered strong thunderstorms are moving across parts of the Northland this evening.
As of 5 p.m., strong storms were moving across parts of the Boundary Waters and along the Interstate 35 corridor south of Duluth. Additional storms were developing to the northwest. They may produce heavy rain - possibly more than an inch - in a short period of time, along with gusty winds and small hail.
There is a risk of some severe storms across the area this afternoon and evening.
