Pete Stauber unanimously won the endorsement of Republican delegates for the 8th Congressional District seat at the GOP’s district convention held in Park Rapids Saturday.

“It is an honor to receive the endorsement of my fellow Republicans,” Stauber announced in a press release. “As I have said before, I could not do this without the help of my family, my staff and my supporters. Team Stauber is growing every day; we are united and we are energized.”

Stauber recently received endorsements from four Iron Range mayors - Larry Cuffe Jr. of Virginia, Shari Swanson of Buhl, Robert Vlaisavljevich of Eveleth and Andrea Zupancich of Babbitt - despite being from a region traditionally known as a stronghold for the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party.
