The St. Scholastica Concert Band and Jazz Band Ensemble will stage a free performance at 7:30 p.m. today in the Mitchell Auditorium.
Both bands are under the direction of Marianne Sandstrom, director of bands and instructor of Music Education at St. Scholastica.
The concert band's selections will include Sousa marches and Irish music. The jazz band opens the second half with popular hits from many jazz styles, including swing, bebop and funk.
