Saints senior captain Trevor Geiger was named Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Player of the Week Tuesday. Last weekend, Geiger had six points. Against St. Mary's University he scored his first hat trick of his collegiate career. He also scored the game-tying goal against St. Thomas.

The Saints beat St. Mary's 9-1 and tied St. Thomas 3-3. St. Thomas was ranked fifth nationally in Div. III hockey.

This weekend, the Saints are returning to the confines of Mars Lakeview Arena for the first time this season. The Saints will host Augsburg College Friday night and Hamline University Saturday. Both games are set to get underway at 7:05 p.m.

Last season, the Saints tied 1-1 at Hamline and beat Augsburg 3-2 on the road. Scholastica enters the weekend with a 1-1-1 record.
