St. Louis River Corridor meeting is Thursday

The City of Duluth is hosting a meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday to discuss the next steps for the St. Louis River Corridor. The meeting is at the Spirit Mountain Ski Chalet on at 8551 Grand Ave.
The first public meeting took place in January on how to proceed with a vision that includes  environmental cleanup, improved access to the river, trail improvements, upgrades to neighborhood parks and community centers, and improvements to the Lake Superior Zoo, Spirit Mountain, Indian Point Campground and Wade Stadium.
Mayor Don Ness, who stressed improvements in the corridor as part of his state of the city speech earlier this year, will be at today’s meeting along with other city officials.
