St. Louis County will seek to take a snapshot of how many people are homeless and unsheltered today, and it needs help.
A table will be set up in the lobby of the Government Services Center, 320 W. Second St., in Duluth for homeless people or those who have information about homeless living in their community to take a five-minute survey to make their whereabouts known.
The county seeks to document individuals who regularly are spending winter nights in a place not meant for human habitation, whether that's a car, abandoned building, tent, shed or some other makeshift shelter.
The information collected could help the St. Louis County Public Health and Human Service Department gain access to funds and other resources available to provide aid.
