The 133rd annual St. Louis County Fair opens today and runs through Sunday at the fairgrounds along U.S. Highway 169 in Chisholm.
Some highlights of the week:
- Today: Jitters Plus performs classic country at 7:30 p.m.
- Thursday: bull riding at 7 p.m.; Pat and Donna Surface featuring music from the '50s, '60s and '70s at 1:30 and 8:30 p.m.
- Friday: kids' games and contests from 1-4 p.m.; Pat and Donna Surface at 2 p.m.; kids' pedal tractor pull at 5 p.m.; Forty Below country and variety concert at 8:30 p.m.
- Saturday: Four Blue Teardrops concert featuring '50s and '60s music at 1:30 p.m.; the Six 9s rock concert at 8:30 p.m.
- Casey Aro will be performing music on the fairgrounds each day; the ATV Big Air Tour will have performances Friday and Saturday.
Gates open at 3 p.m. today, with the fair running until 11 p.m. It continues from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday; 11 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Tickets are $8 for ages 13 and older; $3 for ages 6-12 and free for kids 5 and younger. Midway games and rides are extra.
