The St. Louis County Board on Tuesday gave final approval to sell the county-owned Chris Jensen nursing home to Twin Cities-based Health Dimensions Group for $2.3 million.
The County Board's committee of the whole had signed off on the deal last week.
HDG will get the existing rehabilitation facility, which it has rented and managed since 2009, along with 22 acres, on which they plan on building a senior citizen apartment complex.
The deal is expected to be finalized by the end of March.
