St. Louis County commissioners will be all ears Tuesday night during an informal County Board "listening session" at the Hermantown City Hall.

The meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. at the city's government services building at 5111 Maple Grove Road.

It's the second of four such sessions that are part of the board's move in recent years to hold at least a few meetings during the evening when potentially more people can attend, rather than their usual weekday morning meetings.

The listening sessions don't include any official board action and won't have any formal agenda, but they will allow people to make comments and ask questions of commissioners and members of the county administration.

The previous session was in February at the Grand Lake Town Hall. Other sessions are planned for Sept. 18 in the Duluth City Center West Evergreen Center and Nov. 20 in the Mountain Iron Community Center.
