A Spooner, Wis., man died Tuesday in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 694 in the Twin Cities suburb of Shoreview.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported that Bradford T. Evans, 59, was driving east on the interstate just east of Lexington Avenue when his pickup truck left the road, drove on an embankment for about 400 feet and then hit a tree.
It took crews from the Lake Johanna Fire Department nearly an hour to extricate Evans, said Fire Chief Tim Boehlke.
Evans was taken away by ambulance but died a short time later.
According to the Patrol, Evans told someone who witnessed the accident that he thought he'd had a seizure.
