Brenda Smith and Dan Anderson, both of Duluth, were married Oct. 7 in First United Methodist Church in Duluth.
Her parents are Bruce and Betty Smith of Duluth. His parents are Duane and Sandy Anderson of Duluth.
The bride chose her sister, Angela Wood, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lynnette Reynolds, Laura Hansen and Heather Sirois. Sydney Reynolds was flower girl.
The groom chose his cousin, Mark Seeley, as best man. Groomsmen were Darren Johnsen, Jeff Swor and Philip Wood. Caleb Hansen was ring bearer.
The bride, a 1996 graduate of Duluth Central High School, graduated from the College of St. Scholastica in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in dietetics, food and nutrition and completed a dietetic internship at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in 2001. She is a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator for St. Luke's hospital in Duluth.

The groom, a 1995 graduate of Duluth Central High School, is a plumber/pipefitter for Stack Brothers in Superior.
