Skateboarders gather in Duluth for Go Skateboarding Day
Stephen Pestalozzi, 19, of Duluth, at today's Go Skateboarding Day event at Midtown Park. Damage Board Shop hosted the event locally, giving "skateboarders a chance to get together and build awareness about the activity and the culture," Damage Board Ship co-owner Jack Boyd said. The event included lunch and a bus trip to several skate parks in the area. To ride the bus, skateboarders each donated two or more food items for the CHUM Center.
