Three companies will hold demonstrations of their early-warning sirens for city of Duluth officials Monday and next Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 6 and 7.
Warning sirens will sound on the following schedule:
Monday, Oct. 29, 3 p.m.
Monday, Nov. 5, 11 a.m.
Tuesday, Nov. 6, 10 a.m.

The tests will be conducted at Eighth Avenue West and Railroad Street.
The test soundings are related to the city's recent port security grant, which will eventually result in a re-working of the citywide siren systems.
No requests for proposals have been issued by the city, and no bids have been solicited at this time.
