Lisa Sievers and Jesse Smith, both of Duluth, were married May 20 in Forbes United Methodist Church in Proctor.
Her parents are Ken and Sharon Sievers of Duluth. His parents are Robert and Kelly Smith of Duluth.
The bride chose her sisters, Michelle Sievers and Janelle Sievers, as maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Shyanne McGregor, Mindy DeLacey, Shylee Smith, Kelly Rands and Laura Kesti. Jordayn Smith was junior bridesmaid.
The groom chose his brother, Josse Smith, as best man. Groomsmen were Brandon DeLacey, Scott McGregor, Matt Sievers, Jacob Vanderscheuren, Chais Eliason and Tate Eliason. Spencer Smith was ring bearer.
The bride, a 2003 graduate of Proctor High School, is pursuing a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Minnesota Duluth and plans to attend pharmacy school next fall. She is a pharmacy technician at Target in Hermantown.

The groom, a 2001 graduate of Proctor High School, graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth this year with a bachelor's degree in secondary education. He is a substitute teacher and basketball coach at Proctor Junior High School.
