Sheriff finishes investigation of crime scene at power line

The investigation regarding the explosive devices placed along the Arrowhead-Weston power line was completed Friday morning and Lyman Lake Road was reopened to traffic, Douglas County Sheriff Tom Dalbec said.

The investigation regarding the explosive devices placed along the Arrowhead-Weston power line was completed Friday morning and Lyman Lake Road was reopened to traffic, Douglas County Sheriff Tom Dalbec said.

No suspects have been identified and there is no known motive for the placement of between 15 and 25 soda bottles near the power line, Dalbec said. The road had been closed as sheriff's deputies and the FBI conducted their investigation and retrieved the devices.

The American Transmission Co. has offered a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for the incident.
