The National Weather Service in Duluth has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the Twin Ports as a storm moves through the area with torrential rains, frequent lightning and winds to 60 mph.
The storm was centered over West Duluth at 12:05 and was moving northeast at 50 mph.
Parts of northern Carlton County, southeast St. Louis County and northwest Douglas County and western Lake Superior are included in the warning through 12:30.
