* Family Time/Parenting Classes: This is a weekly service offered for families. Parents attend classes and listen to speakers about how to be better parents while their children are being watched by Little Treasures staff. Children and parents are served a homemade supper before they are sent home. Family Time offers three formats: parent alone class, parent/child interactive class and family field trips.

Services offered by Little Treasures

* Family Time/Parenting Classes: This is a weekly service offered for families. Parents attend classes and listen to speakers about how to be better parents while their children are being watched by Little Treasures staff. Children and parents are served a homemade supper before they are sent home. Family Time offers three formats: parent alone class, parent/child interactive class and family field trips.

* Duluth Fathering Project: Little Treasures serves as the host organization for the Duluth Fathering Project, a group that meets twice a month for supper and fathering classes. They stress the importance of fathers in children's lives and try to keep dads involved in their children's lives.

* The basics: For families who need diapers, formula, clothes or shoes, Little Treasures has a limited supply of these products. The products are donated.

* Family advocacy: Two part-time family advocates provide services to create more stable families.

* Head Start classrooms: Little Treasures has recently joined with Duluth Head Start, which has increased the services that Little Treasures can provide, allowing it to provide services to homeless families.
