Duluth-based ScanHealth Inc. has changed its name to Sansio.

The new name is one of a number of changes at the privately owned information technology company.

Sansio is expanding its product lines, which include software for emergency medical services and home health companies, said Michelle Wiklund, vice president of corporate relations. Its products are intended to help health-care organizations move to paperless offices, which helps reduce errors, save money and improve quality.

In addition, Sansio has expanded its headquarters in the Technology Village to 11,000 square feet, an addition of about 3,000 square feet. The space includes 18 offices, a conference room and an employee lounge.

Sansio also anticipates hiring a few development and support staff members this year, Wiklund said. The firm employs 38people.
