Saturday's weather for Duluth and the Northland: Sunny

Expect plenty of sun today with highs reaching the low- to mid-70s as a high-pressure system builds from the west. A ridge forming in the jet stream will keep us dry throughout the weekend. Lows Sunday morning will be near 51 and highs will reach 70.

Expect plenty of sun today with highs reaching the low- to mid-70s as a high-pressure system builds from the west. A ridge forming in the jet stream will keep us dry throughout the weekend. Lows Sunday morning will be near 51 and highs will reach 70. Expect mostly cloudy skies by the afternoon hours Sunday as a cold front approaches for a 40 percent chance of rain Sunday night and into Monday morning. Lows will be in the mid-40s with a 50 percent chance of rain early Monday. Colder air will be pushing in behind the front, and I cannot rule out a few spotty flurries. Accumulation is not expected as highs will reach 56. Tuesday we get down to 38 in the morning as the trough in the jet stream keeps us cool, but we're not expecting much in the way of precipitation. Highs will reach 54 with partly cloudy skies and only a 20 percent chance of a few sprinkles.

Have a great weekend!
