A warm front is making an attempt to reach us, but high pressure to our northeast will keep most of the moisture at bay. I've reduced the chance of rain to 30 percent this morning, it still looks like a 40 percent chance in the morning for places to the west of Floodwood. Highs will be around 63 with mostly cloudy skies. On Sunday we've got mostly cloudy skies and lows near 41 and highs near 60. There's a 20 percent chance of showers as well. Memorial Day we're staying near 60 for the high and we have a 30 percent chance of showers with mostly cloudy skies. It looks like Saturday through Monday we'll be dealing with an easterly flow of sorts which will keep things cooler by the lake, mid- to low-50s for highs. Tuesday we've got a stronger low-pressure system approaching from the southwest. This will bring some moisture and warmth our way getting temps to 47 for a low and highs near 67. There's a 60 percent chance of showers and thunder as the unstable air pushes into the region too.
