An area of high pressure will camp itself over the Great Lakes for the better part of the weekend, keeping us warm and sunny through the Fourth of July. Two storm systems to our west will try to penetrate the area of high pressure later this weekend, but it won't have much luck. The best chance for any rain this weekend will occur Sunday evening as a frontal boundary to the west slides northward through the Dakotas. This will create a small chance of storms well north and west of the Twin Ports. The humidity will become a little more noticeable on Monday. - Meteorologist Dan Romano
