Happy Saturday to you! It's looking cooler today as the jet stream is moving really fast over the Northland, which will bring in air from the northwest that will keep temperatures near 70 for a high. This fast-moving jet also will create enough uplift to give us a 40 percent chance of showers and storms during the afternoon.
The storms will last into Sunday morning; highs Sunday will be in the low 70s, with a 20 percent chance of showers.
A ridge of high pressure will build into the area on Monday, bringing plenty of warm air. Highs Monday will reach 77 with partly cloudy skies. As we head into Tuesday, there will be a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.
