More clouds will be rolling in today, with a wave in the jet stream moving over the Northland. The jet is in a strong trough pattern over the eastern U.S., and we're in between with a ridge to the west. This small wave will bring a 40 percent chance of showers and thunder. On Sunday, I've removed the probability of precipitation. It doesn't look like another small wave will move through. Temperatures will be a little below average because the jet is continuing to pump in cooler air from the north. On Monday, the trough will move to the east and a ridge starts to push toward our region. The ridge isn't as strong as it was and will allow a small wave to skirt the Minnesota/Ontario border Tuesday. This wave will create a 20 percent chance of showers.
