Today, warm and unstable air will drive north as a large low-pressure system builds from the southwest. Heat and humidity pulled in by the low will push the chance for storms to 60 percent. Highs will run from 78-83 inland, but could be cooler by Lake Superior. The wind will be southeast at 10-25 mph. Sunday, the storm chance will decrease to 40 percent. By the time the system departs, it could leave 1-2 inches of rain. On Monday, the low-pressure system should depart, but it could leave a 30 percent chance for showers. There will still be a chance of showers Tuesday, aided a new wave of lower air pressure. Sunshine should hit in earnest for a few days beginning Wednesday.
