Three events will cause road closures and traffic delays Saturday, according to Duluth police.

  • At 6 a.m., the 1100 block of London Road will close for setup for the CHUM Rhubarb Festival. The festival will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at First Lutheran Church, and London Road will reopen by 5 p.m.
  • At 9 a.m., Harbor Drive will close to traffic for the setup for the Vista Fleet's 50th anniversary celebration. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Harbor Drive will reopen by 5:30 p.m.
  • About 1,200 motorcycles will begin lining up at 5:30 p.m. on Railroad Street between Fifth Avenue West and Garfield Avenue for the Minnesota State Harley Owners' Group rally parade. The parade starts at 6:30 p.m. and takes the following route: Railroad Street east to Fifth Avenue West; Fifth Avenue West north to northbound Interstate 35; northbound I-35 exiting onto London Road at 26th Avenue East; London Road east to 58th Avenue East; 58th Avenue East north to Superior Street; Superior Street west to 54th Avenue East; 54th Avenue East south to London Road; London Road west to 26th Avenue East entering southbound I-35; southbound I-35 to I-535 into Wisconsin; I-535 south onto Hammond Avenue; Hammond Avenue south to Belknap Avenue; Belknap Avenue west to U.S. Highway 2 to Minnesota; Highway 2 north to 46th Avenue West; 46th Avenue West north to Grand Avenue; Grand Avenue east to 40th Avenue West; 40th Avenue West (Haines Road) north to Morris Thomas Road; Morris Thomas Road east to Piedmont Avenue; Piedmont Avenue south to 21st Avenue West exit; 21st Avenue West south to Superior Street; Superior Street east to Garfield Avenue; Garfield Avenue south to Railroad Street; Railroad Street east to Fifth Avenue West, where the parade ends.
