Duluth Parks and Recreation and the YMCA will host a sandmodeling contest on Aug. 6 outside the Park Point Beach House.
Area children are invited to participate in the free event, scheduled for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 45th Street and Minnesota Avenue. There also will be games and music.
