To help the efforts of the Salvation Army, Super One Foods has donated 384 Premium Hormel Cure 81 hams to the Salvation Army in both Duluth and Superior. The Duluth location alone served 500 people Dec. 20-21. "This level of donation from Super One Foods really helps us out. Total donations are down compared to last year", said Major John Price, Corps Commanding Officer. "At this time, cash donations are especially needed because we're down about 26 percent from collections made in the year 2001."

Super One Foods has been donating hams to the Salvation Army at Christmas for over 10 years. It is a partnership program with Hormel that was established to provide quality meals for people in need. This year a record amount was donated that exceeded $7,000 in product value.
