Kessler rushed for 232 yards on 35 carries and scored three times, including a 71-yard run in the first quarter and a 4-yarder in the fourth quarter. His halfback pass to Nick Adams sent the game to overtime tied at 14.

The Raiders improved to 4-1 overall and 1-1 in the White Division; Esko fell to 3-2 and 2-1.

Chris Westlund's 15-yard touchdown run came after Cloquet fumbled deep in its own territory, breaking a 21-21 tie in the fourth quarter and giving the Oredockers the Sea-Range Conference win.

The Oredockers (5-1, 3-1) rushed for 273 yards, led by Nate Dickerson's 87 yards and a touchdown. Rick Betting threw for 107 yards passing and two touchdowns.
